Analog and digital temperature

01 April, 2009 by

Banner Engineering has introduced a new way to collect analog, digital and temperature information in hazardous areas. The system is a combination of wireless communication, battery technology and intrinsically safe electronics.

Turck inclinometer

01 April, 2009

Turck has introduced a dual-axis inclinometer sensor for angular tilt detection. The sensors feature compact rectangular housings and may be mounted at ±10, ±45, ±60 and ±85° angles.

Broken bag detection

31 March, 2009 by

Dusty is a broken bag detection system. It uses a triboelectric measuring technique and detects solid particles in a gas flow. The particles must be 0.3 µm in size, or larger.

Solids flow sensor

31 March, 2009 by

FlowJam is a non-contact flow/no flow sensor for solids. It uses a microwave technology to give results under harsh conditions of dust and sunlight. It is suitable for detecting solid flows in hoppers, conveyors, screw conveyors, air slides, etc.

Interface level detection

03 November, 2008

Compared to a standard level measurement in liquids, the detection and measurement of interfaces have their own particular challenges, leaving many interface applications without reliable level measurements. Most popular today are the electronic or non-mechanical solutions with no moving mechanical parts which offer much higher long-term stability and low or no maintenance operation.

Flow sensor

01 July, 2008

Capable of operating as a standalone flow sensor, or as part of an MS6 service unit combination, the MS6-SFE features a clearly laid out, backlit LCD showing flow or consumption data combined with a choice of output options.

Humidity and temperature transmitter

01 June, 2008

The HTZ Smart HART humidity and temperature transmitter from Moore Industries simultaneously measures temperature and humidity in processes that require extremely close monitoring of humidity, temperature and dewpoint.

Process analysers

01 June, 2008

SensoTech LiquiSonic systems can be used to monitor and control liquids in intake lines, reactors, filters, scrubbers, heat exchangers, waste lines, basins and almost anywhere liquid flows, increasing the safety of industrial processes.

Leak detection system

01 June, 2008

A non-destructive leak detection system for rigid or flexible packaging has been released by South Australian company SI Instruments.

IP67 sub bus system

01 June, 2008

Weidmüller has extended its family of SAI Active Universal modules with SAI Active Pro — a sub bus system with robust design rated to IP67.

Vision system

01 June, 2008

In-Sight Micro is a small, smart and easy-to-use vision system. The complete vision system fits into a small package that measures 30 x 30 x 60 mm.

Wireless, waterproof core temperature data loggers

01 June, 2008

The TandD RTR-61 wireless/waterproof data logger is designed to read the temperature or record the temperature from a penetration-type sensor.

IP67 and IP69K sensors

01 June, 2008

The Leuze stainless steel 53 and 55 sensor series have been developed for applications involving enhanced hygiene requirements and exposure to intensive cleaning and disinfection cycles.

LR260 radar level transmitter

01 June, 2008

Sitrans LR260 is the latest 2-wire radar continuous level transmitter from Siemens. It features process intelligence echo processing and 25 GHz pulse technology.

Microwave level measurement

01 June, 2008

Endress+Hauser has launched performance enhancements to its range of free-to-air microwave devices.
