Process viscosity control

The Brookfield Model AST100 inline viscometer is a sensitive, versatile instrument that measures process fluid viscosity in a fully flooded product stream under pressure or vacuum. The viscometers are unaffected by changes in pressure or laminar flow.

The viscometer is a vibratory style sensor that generates a digital signal that is proportional to viscosity. This digital signal remains unaffected by severe process conditions. The AST100 provides continuous, accurate and real-time measurements which reduce batch failures and ensure product consistency.

The system can be used in a variety of food applications from sauces and dressings through to batters and creams.
