Vacuum system for palletising

10 October, 2007 | Supplied by: Griffiths Components Pty Ltd

Vuototecnica includes the Octopus system in its range, the answer to the need for operational flexibility for palletising robots and vacuum-operated handling systems. This system allows any object of any shape and kind, except those with excessive transpiration, to be supported without having to change or position suction pads, even when their surface covers only 5% of the entire suction surface; the maximum weight of the load to be lifted will naturally be in proportion to the lifting surface.

Table talk

13 July, 2007 | Supplied by: http://www.vibrationsystems.com.au

Using two electric vibrating motors has long been the usual method of getting a true vertical action in a vibrating table. This is a good system when the application doesn't change, but often the table may be used for many purposes. This then means that either a compromise is needed between the various applications or a variable speed motor is required.

Sanitary accumulator

13 June, 2007 | Supplied by: Garvey Corporation

Garvey's Infinity Series accumulators provide high-speed, low backpressure accumulation for production lines, which was previously difficult, due to product instability and/or susceptibility to damage.

Hygienic conveying

13 June, 2007 | Supplied by: Intralox Australia Pty Ltd

Intralox's Clean Team claims to deliver conveyor sanitation technology that reduces cleaning time and water usage compared to manual cleaning. The Intralox SeamFree family of belts, which includes the Series 800, Series 850 and the Series 1650 SeamFree Minimum Hinge Flat Top belt, effectively channels water and debris away from the hinges and to the edge of the belt. Smooth move

11 April, 2007 | Supplied by: http://www.vibrationsystems.com.au/

While the more common drive for vibratory conveyors is by electric vibrating motors, their physical characteristics make them inherently unsuitable for very large strokes and long conveyor lengths, since they need to drive through the centre of gravity of the tray. To obtain a true linear action two motors are needed with consequent increase in weight and complexity.
