Ceva Logistics has won the Information Management Award at the UK Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) annual award ceremony in London, for its solution to capture and automatically analyse tachograph data.

“Ceva, through a series of preferred supplier partnerships, has incorporated new devices, imaging techniques and analysis techniques from the internet. This has brought benefits of cost savings in analysis and operational benefits of more effective management of vehicles and drivers,” said the judging panel.

“The IT solution was implemented to provide a smooth transition to the new digital tachographs by merging the existing analog and digital world in a single automated analysis and reporting tool. This has allowed Ceva to accurately and reliably record compliance, possible infringement and Working Time Directive information across a mobile workforce."

Neil Crossthwaite, managing director of Ceva in the UK, congratulated the Ceva teams.

“I am delighted that Ceva has once again enjoyed a high level of success at the CILT awards event. The IT Award demonstrates Ceva’s continuing commitment to deliver advanced technology solutions,” he said.
