Heat and Control brings coffee and tea processing solutions to MICE 2026

Heat and Control will showcase its latest coffee and tea processing, packaging and inspection solutions at the Melbourne International Coffee Exhibition (MICE) 2026, highlighting technologies designed to improve efficiency, reduce waste and protect product quality across the coffee supply chain.

Returning to MICE following its debut at the show last year, the company will highlight solutions tailored for whole bean, ground coffee and tea applications, supporting processors with scalable systems that provide accuracy, compliance and efficiency.

Currently celebrating its 75th anniversary, Heat and Control supports global food manufacturers through brands including FastBack, Spray Dynamics, Ishida, CEIA and Urschel.

At MICE, the company will bring a range of solutions for the coffee industry, including its size reduction equipment from Urschel. These systems are designed to achieve highly controlled, uniform particle sizes for roasted coffee beans and tea leaves — supporting consistent grind profiles, improved flavour and higher yield, with efficiency and uniformity across batches.

Beyond flavour optimisation, Heat and Control will demonstrate how its integrated packaging and inspection systems can help protect coffee product integrity, while reducing giveaway and unnecessary waste — optimising production across a wide range of coffee applications.

Heat and Control’s Business Manager – Packaging and Inspection Solutions, Robert Marguccio, said its solutions are designed to support both growing and established coffee processors.

“Our solutions are reliable, scalable and engineered to deliver long-term value for coffee processors of all sizes,” Marguccio said.

Heat and Control’s portfolio includes processing, conveying, weighing, packaging, inspection, and coating and flavouring technologies, available as standalone equipment or as fully integrated, end-to-end systems aligned to individual production needs.

Technology on show at MICE 2026

Featured technology includes:

  • Urschel Comitrol Processor M1700 — particle size reduction with multiple cutting options in a single machine
  • Ishida X-ray System — designed to manage risk and improve quality detecting foreign objects and product defects
  • Ishida DACS Checkweigher with CEIA Metal Detector Combination System — integrated weight checking and metal detection for a wide range of pack sizes and production speeds.

The Heat and Control team will be available on Booth D14 at MICE from 26–28 March in Melbourne.
