Automated batch retort system
A large US-based multinational food product manufacturer has awarded JBT FoodTech a $4.8 million contract for an automated batch sterilisation system. The system will provide the processor with leading technology to process a wide range of packaging configurations while reducing labour costs and improving energy efficiencies versus traditional equipment.
JBT FoodTech received this order in June 2009 and the system is currently scheduled to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2009.
