Krones acquires German pallet handling company
Krones AG has acquired 100% of the shares of German company Schaefer Förderanlagen-und Maschinenbau GmbH.
Schaefer has a focus on engineering and after-sales service of pallet handling solutions for the beverage industry. The company achieved a turnover of approximately €2 million in 2014.
Krones says Schaefer’s expertise and patent portfolio will complement its own packaging technology.
