CSIRO food science conference in November
The 8th International Food Structure, Digestion and Health Conference (FSDH 2025) will be held over four days from 17–20 November at the CSIRO Food Innovation Centre in Werribee, Victoria.
With the theme of ‘Insight to Impact: Science for Tomorrow’s Food Industry Challenges’, the conference will look at the latest science and innovation in the food industry and its relevance for future food development.
This event promotes a cross-disciplinary approach to food design that improves nutrition, functionality and consumer health outcomes. Some of the themes for the conference speakers and workshops include:
- Application of AI in Food Manufacturing for Nutrition and Health — details about using AI, digital twins and smart processing for personalised nutrition and manufacturing precision.
- AI and the Future of the Food Industry — which takes a look at emerging data-driven approaches to accelerate R&D, consumer insight and product development.
- Balancing Ultra-Processed and Whole Foods — including scientific and regulatory insights on reformulating foods for nutritional and structural integrity.
