Barentz rebrands Additive Solutions in Australia and NZ
Global specialty ingredient solution provider Barentz has announced that Additive Solutions has been officially rebranded to Barentz, completing its integration across Australia and New Zealand.
Barentz and Additive Solutions joined forces in Australia and New Zealand back in 2014, and Additive Solutions was then fully acquired by Barentz in December 2024. This rebranding marks the final chapter of a successful partnership that began over a decade ago.
Founded in 2009, the Additive Solutions team operates from its Melbourne head office to provide technical expertise in ingredient solutions to specific market segments, including health and nutrition, bakery, culinary, confectionery, dairy, fats and oils, meat, pet food, nutraceutical, sports nutrition and infant formula markets.
“Rebranding to Barentz is a natural next step in our journey,” said Andrew Sullivan, Managing Director Australia & New Zealand at Barentz. “We’re maintaining the relationships and expertise our customers rely on, while connecting them to greater global resources and a broader portfolio. For our principal partners, it brings together Barentz’s global strength with Additive Solutions’ deep local market knowledge and trusted relationships, a powerful combination for future growth.”
Marc Duchene, Regional CEO Asia-Pacific at Barentz, said: “The rebranding of Additive Solutions to Barentz is a significant milestone in our APAC growth strategy. By fully integrating our Australia and New Zealand operations under the Barentz brand, we are better positioned to leverage our regional scale. This move ensures that our partners in ANZ benefit from a seamless global network that remains deeply rooted in our expertise.”
