Avery Dennison and Tronics have collaborated on a labeller for the Avery Dennison Shrink PS packaging material that enables late-stage decorating of vacuum-shrink bags. The labeller applies the pressure-sensitive label to the shrinkable bags offline or inline prior to filling and vacuum sealing. The system is suitable for the meat and dairy industries.

Proseal has extended its range of tray sealers with the GT1V, a high-speed model offering a full vacuum system. While all existing Proseal models are capable of delivering gas flushing for MAP applications, the GT1V has been specifically developed for products such as meat and poultry where residual gas levels need to be less than 1%.
