Corry Stainless produces tank bodies with manway assemblies in a minimum stainless steel grade of 316, ensuring wine or beer is protected from oxidisation and corrosion. The TIG welding process is used on all tank seams, and all fittings are purge welded. All tanks are polished internally preventing pitting and crevices from forming. This also assists in effective CIP cleaning. Double acting stainless steel relief valves, BSM and tri-clover fittings are used for hygiene purposes. Process pipe work is also fabricated to these standards ensuring wine or beer gets from the tank to bottling without contamination.
