DMF International insulated sectional door

Friday, 08 January, 2010 | Supplied by: DMF International Pty Ltd

DMF International has added an insulated sectional door to its range of door solutions. The doors are designed for use in loading docks and coolrooms as an alternative to sliding doors and roller shutters.

Custom manufactured in Australia to size, these doors are an alternative, providing temperature insulation with security and wind resistance. They can be configured to suit the available headroom clearance and may be manually or motor driven.

The insulated panel sections are 50 mm thick, and are fabricated from prepainted, hot dip galvanised steel, with a rigid, CFC-free, polyurethane core. The steel surface is continuously ribbed and stucco embossed, then finished with painted baked enamel offering high durability and corrosion protection for moist applications.

This all provides security, high strength to weight ratio and high insulation benefits to the finished product.

The motor-driven option includes a controller and single-phase DC motor, requiring no limit switches or safety edges since the motor senses the loading and reacts accordingly. These are suitable for up to 33 m2 of opening size.

Other options available include vision glazing, lifting handles and activation types for automated versions.
