Entries welcome for 2011 Environmental Packaging Awards
The Packaging Council of New Zealand is calling for entries for the 2011 Environmental Packaging Awards which recognise the efforts New Zealand is making towards sustainable packaging.
The Environmental Packaging Awards not only bring recognition to organisations succeeding in this area, but also raise further awareness of the need to get on the right track and move towards sustainable packaging.
The Executive Director of the Packaging Council, Paul Curtis, says, “The number of categories has been revised this year to ensure each award is more focused on the different stages of sustainable packaging, from design right through the supply chain to the end product and further on to packaging education programs.
“These awards are an excellent opportunity for an organisation to receive recognition for working towards a more sustainable environment and we’re looking forward to seeing many more organisations getting involved.”
