Van London-Phoenix has launched a range of ion selective probes that are easy to use and fit any modern pH/mV meter, ion meter, or online instrumentation.
All of the ion selective electrodes (ISEs) are available in both glass and plastic body combination electrodes including single junction probe, featuring a spring-loaded sleeve junction with a low-maintenance epoxy body, and the double junction glass body probe.
Ammonia, ammonium, bromide, cadmium, calcium, carbon dioxide, chloride, copper, cyanide, fluoride, fluoroborate, iodide, lead, nitrate, nitrogen oxide, perchlorate, potassium, silver/sulfide, sodium, surfactant, and water hardness ion selective probes are available.
Advantages of ISE sensors for analytical measurements are that they are responsive over a wide concentration range (0.1 to 10,000 ppm, 1 x 10-5 to 1M); have rugged electrode bodies that are shockproof and chemically resistant; and have rapid response time whereby a sample analysis can be complete within 1 to 2 mins (colorimetric, AA or gravimetric methods require much longer sample preparation times).
