ifm efector PQ series compact analog pressure sensor

Wednesday, 26 June, 2013 | Supplied by: ifm efector pty ltd

imf efector’s PQ series pressure sensor with analog and switching output has been designed for efficient compressed air control or filter monitoring. The sensor measures both relative and differential pressure.

The sensor is suitable for condition-based maintenance, such as when a filter is exchanged or leakage is detected by pressure loss.

The coated silicon measuring cell is claimed to guarantee high overload resistance and an accuracy of ± 0.5%. The coating protects the measuring cell from air humidity and condensate.

The parameter setting can be carried out via two pushbuttons or IO-Link interface. The compact sensor offers an analog output and a switching output, both of which are configurable.
