Exair Premium Chip Vac compressed air vacuum system
Exair’s Premium Chip Vac system is used to clean chips or other dry materials from fixtures, floors and work surfaces of machining centres, lathes, saw mills and other industrial equipment.
The vacuum easily attaches to a 205 L drum and can be moved from drum to drum to keep materials separate for recycling. To prevent material contamination, a poly drum liner can be inserted into the drum.
Compressed air powered, the vacuum attaches to open-top steel, fibre or plastic drums. It is quiet (77 dBA) and has no motors or impellers to clog or wear out.
Available from Compressed Air Australia, the vacuum system comes with a Chip Vac, lever lock drum lid, shutoff valve, 0.1 µm filter bag, 3 m flexible static resistant vacuum hose (38 mm ID), heavy duty aluminium tools, 6.1 m air hose, drum dolly, tool holder and quick connect fittings.
