Differential pressure/velocity transmitter

Dwyer Instruments has released the Series MS differential pressure/velocity transmitter. The transmitter is suitable for measuring differential pressure or velocity in building automation applications.

The unit offers two transmitters covering six ranges. It has three ranges in the one unit enabling range changes to be done in the field via jumper settings. The low-range unit can be jumpered for 0-25, 0-50 or 0-100 Pa with the high-range unit having ranges of 0-250, 0-500 Pa or 0-1.25 kPa.

The transmitter is available with a 4-20 mA or 0-10 V output.

The transmitter can also be configured as a velocity transmitter. The unit will provide a current or voltage output proportional to the differential pressure input from a pitot tube and has an adjustable 'K' factor. It also has adjustable dampening and a 4-digit LCD display is optional and field upgradeable.

This loop powered (10-35 VDC, 2-wire) or externally powered (17-36 VDC, 3-wire) transmitter has digital push-button calibration and is housed in an IP65 enclosure.

Dwyer Instruments produces a range of measuring and control instruments for pressure, temperature, level, flow and other related applications.
