Avery Weigh-Tronix Checkpoint checkweighers automatically check the entire production batch rejecting any non-conforming packs.

This leaves the product of the correct weight only, which can be sent down the line for further processing. Remedial actions can then be taken on the rejected packs.

A full record of all weighings showing under, over and target weights can be provided to assist with quality assurance.

The accuracy of the device is claimed to allow tighter weight tolerances resulting in reduced overfill.

With a choice of standard conveyor lengths, adjustable machine height and selectable direction of travel, the machine can be introduced into an existing production line with no additional installation expense.

Up to 50 product parameters containing target weight and tolerance, product length and other essential characteristics can be created to ensure that packaged goods are of the highest quality.

These can be used to verify correct weight, check for complete contents, identify if the carton is open or if the products are too close together to be weighed separately. The checkweighers are built of stainless steel and no tools are required to remove the conveyors, allowing fast access for routine cleaning. The control board is protected by the waterproof cabinet. A 'high risk' environment version is available with the IP65 conveyor motors.
