ACT brewery wins two golds at international awards
Canberra-based brewery Bentspoke Brewing Co has taken home two gold medals in beer categories at the 2024 International Brewing & Cider Awards.
‘Barley Griffin’ won the gold in category ‘Class 1 for Ale 2.9% – 4.4% ABV’ and ‘FreeWheeler’ won the gold in category ‘Ultra-low alcohol (0.06% to 1.1% ABV) Ultra-Low Alcohol Beer up to 1.1% ABV’.
Following three days of deliberation of the beer and cider’s quality and commercial value, 67 different brewers and cidermakers from 21 countries have received accolades. Other gold winners hailed from Cambodia, China, Czech Republic, Finland, Norway, Taiwan, Thailand, USA and the UK.
