Sick Inox sensors

Sick’s Inox hygienic sensor solutions are said to contribute to constant increases in efficiency in all areas of the food and beverage industry. The hygienic design and the careful selection of materials used are based on various norms, standards and regulations to ensure safety, should direct contact with food or raw materials occur.

The sensors employ an intelligent density concept using a combination of plastic and stainless steel to eliminate moisture ingress caused by thermal changes. In addition to meeting the requirements of IP protection classes, the sensors undergo in-house testing using high-pressure water jets which simulate the effects of a washdown environment.

All products in the range are very tolerant of high and low temperatures, chemically resistant, allow no water ingress and available with a variety of mounting options.
