Egg hunting
Cadbury has a range of old favourites as well as some new products. Bunny Share Packs are now available in Marble, milk chocolate, Caramilk Marble and Clinkers options. Also joining the fray for egg hunting are the gift box options that feature a large egg stuffed with four rabbits inside for a grand prize at the end of an egg hunt. These are also available in Marble and Caramilk Marble and Clinkers versions as well as a Coconut Rough. Humpty Dumpty is also back on the wall with a new treat-size version available.
Vegan and gluten-free Easter eggs
NOMO’s range of eggs has been developed for the benefit of the tens of thousands of people who are vegan, or lactose or gluten intolerant, but still want to enjoy some seasonal chocolate at Easter. Standing for ‘No Missing Out’, the range is free of gluten, dairy, eggs and nuts and has a variety of flavours such as sea salt and caramel, fruit and crunch, and creamy.
Vegan chocolate bars
Easter eggs are not the only chocolates getting a vegan makeover, with the Lindt Classic Vegan Smooth and Classic Vegan Hazelnut chocolate bars hitting shelves. Despite foregoing the use of dairy, the chocolate is still said to have Lindt’s signature smooth creaminess for an Easter snack.
Chupa Chups ice cream
For a cooler treat this Easter, take a look at Chupa Chups ice cream cones produced by Bulla Dairy Foods. Inspired by the original Chupa Chups lollipops, the ice creams feature a nostalgic strawberry and cream flavour with a drizzle of strawberry sauce and a sprinkling of candy.
The ice creams are available on shelves of independent grocers now and will be available in Woolworths locations from early May.

Easter doesn’t just have to be about the sweets. The rum range from Proof Drinks Australia now includes CUT RUM, Cihuatán Rum and Aluna Coconut Rum. CUT RUM is flavoured with vanilla and peppercorns alongside a blend of flavours that includes South Indian spices. Inspired by Mayan culture, the Cihuatán rum is available as part of a premium range of small batch products. Finally Aluna Coconut rum is a lower sugar option that blends Caribbean and Guatemalan rums.
