SIPA SFL WM linear blow moulder for wide-mouth PET containers
SIPA has released a two-stage SFL WM linear blow moulder designed for wide-mouth bottles and containers up to 10 L capacity. The blow moulder is available in two configurations: the SFL WM Fast and the SFL WM Flex.
The SFL WM Fast has been designed with speed in mind. It can produce containers with neck diameters up to 95 mm and capacities up to 3 L, with output rates of up to 6000 containers/h.
The SFL WM Flex is intended for users who change containers more frequently. It holds up to four cavities and can make containers of up to 10 L with neck sizes up to 130 mm. Mould changeovers take less than 20 min and neck changeovers take 40 min.
The fully electric, low-maintenance machine is claimed to have low energy consumption achieved with good reheating efficiency and an Air Recovery System (ARS) with reduced blow air consumption and a corresponding smaller compressor size requirement.
