wenglor miniature fork and label sensors
The wenglor sensoric portfolio now includes miniature fork and label sensors, which have been designed for various detection tasks in packaging, conveyor and automation technology.
The fork sensors come in a compact format with high switching accuracy so they can be integrated in confined installations, such as in shuttles or automated guided vehicles. They capture small parts from a size of 0.7 mm and are available in three fork widths of 10, 20 and 30 mm. With their low weight, space-saving format and IP67/IP68 degree of protection, the miniature fork light barriers are suitable for applications in conveyor systems, assembly processes and robots.
The label sensors use optical or ultrasound-based technology for the detection of a wide range of label materials. The optical sensors use infrared light to identify labels based on the light signal received. Ultrasonic label sensors detect labels regardless of colour, transparency and surface finish based on different sound attenuation. This makes them suitable for transparent, glossy and low-contrast labels. With a response time of only 0.25 ms, they are also suitable for high belt speeds.
