SIPA Bottless lightweight hot-fill PET bottle

Wednesday, 01 August, 2012 | Supplied by: HBM Packaging Technologies

The SIPA Bottless range of 500 mL hot-fill PET bottles is manufactured on the SIPA SFR rotary blow moulding machine. The SFR is a good choice of PET blow moulding machinery for beverage manufacturers as it can produce high-quality containers in standard, multilayer and lightweight hot-fill PET formats. The range has a production speed of up to 1800 b/h per cavity.

SIPA engineers designed the range to reduce the effects that PET containers have on the environment. While the bottles weigh only 13.1 g, the functionality and the aesthetic appeal of the bottles has been maintained.

The bottles are available in different neck finishes, according to user requirements. A 28 mm collar weighs 3.8 g, while the 33 and 38 mm versions weigh 6.5 g.
