O-I 750 mL Lean+Green Premium Burgundy wine bottle
The O-I 750 mL Lean+Green Premium Burgundy wine bottle is 26% lighter but retains its premium look and feel.
Manufactured at O-I’s Adelaide plant, the bottle’s weight has been reduced from 545 to 405 g and is available in antique green and french green colours. It is produced using narrow-neck press and blow (NNPB) technology, which also reduces energy and water consumption while maintaining proportions and premium design cues brand owners require.
The new bottle delivers environmental benefits including: a16% reduction in CO2 emissions per container; a 16% reduction in water per container; and a 9.7% freight-efficiency improvement.
