Leepack rotary vacuum fill-seal machine

Wednesday, 28 October, 2009 | Supplied by: Perfect Packaging

The Leepack RT-8BT-8VF rotary vacuum fill-seal machine has been designed for handling pre-made pouches. The machine operates by picking up an empty pouch which is stored in a magazine, transferring the pouch into grippers, opening the pouch, filling it with product, then transferring it into the chamber and then vacuuming the pouch. The machine then seals and cools the top seal, finally discharging the filled and vacuumed pouch.

The RT-8BT-8VF has carousels divided into eight filling stations and eight vacuum chambers and is capable of packing up to 30 packs/min. (Faster models are also available.)

Using high technology such as a micro computer display or touch screen ensures that operation and maintenance are easily performed on this machine.

The RT-8BT-8VF machine rotates intermittently to fill the product easily, while the vacuum machine rotates continuously to enable the machine to run smoothly and efficiently.

All grippers in the filling station can be adjusted easily by a motor via touch screen; however, all grippers in the vacuum chambers do not need to be adjusted. Stainless steel construction provides for high durability and easy cleaning making all filling zones and vacuum chambers water washable.
