Fibre King WAP25-150 Wraparound Robotic Case Packer
The Fibre King WAP25-150 Wraparound Robotic Case Packer uses pick-and-place robotic collators for individual product orientation and diverting with a wraparound case packing system. It will handle up to 25 cases/min.
Manufactured in 304 stainless steel, it is suitable for a wide range of industries, from food and beverage to pharmaceuticals, household and personal care products. The design will be installed at a major Australian personal care production factory in April 2011.
Multiple ABB robots are used to receive, divert and orient product for shelf presentation, with almost unlimited flexibility for future products and/or pack configurations. Careful integration with Fibre King wraparound technology results in a good tight fit between product and case, which ensures product protection, minimum board use and maximum pallet utilisation.
