Entry level horizontal cartoner

RA Jones & Co Inc has launched the Legend Series L200 (entry level) horizontal cartoner, which is available as 'HL' (hand load) or alternatively with Auto product load systems.

The cartoner is a continuous motion, four chain carton transport machine, with the carton transport, barrel loader, bucket conveyor, carton feed and minor flap closing driven by servo motors.

Features include: pre-engineered product handling and transfer systems; simple hydraulic height adjustment; welded stainless steel tubular frame system with hygienic design which allows debris to fall through to the floor; powered magazine with controlled back pressure; smooth and efficient rotary carton feed; Allen-Bradley controls - ControlLogix for the Auto and MicroLogix for the HL model; Nordson ProBlue gluing system; PC based HMI flat panel colour touch screen (Auto only); machines available with 230 or 300 mm centre configurations.

Advantages include: speeds of up to 80 cpm (Hand Load) and 200 cpm (Auto) can be reached; right- and left-hand configurations; pre-engineered configurations.
