The Behn + Bates Maschinenfabrik Orbis has been developed for clean and efficient filling of powder into 10 to 25 kg bags. The units primarily address the needs of producers of milk powder, baking ingredients as well as any other food powders.
The dust-free filling of powders into open-mouth bags poses special challenges for packaging machine manufacturers. Only through the optimal interplay between low-air filling, dust-tight spouts and efficient product de-aeration can this be achieved. The Orbis system ensures efficient and hygienic powder filling and a compact amount of powder in the bag, as well as outputs of more than 600 bags/h. The filled bags are stable, thus giving a good pallet shape.
