Domino has announced three additions to its range of continuous ink jet (CIJ) black inks. The inks are compatible with the company’s A-Series printers and have been developed to meet the requirements of a range of industries, from food to aerospace.
The 2BK026 black ink has been developed for the A420i and is targeted primarily at the food sector where a heat seal application is required. This ink provides good adhesive properties to a wide range of substrates, while its resistance to heat and pressure make it suitable for use on surfaces where heat sealing is applied post coding, such as sachets and dry food packaging.
The 2BK030 is also a fast dry black ink designed for food applications. This ink has a high resistance to fats and edible oils, as well as heat and retort, in which high temperatures are required for steam sterilisation. It is therefore suitable for challenging production environments.
The 2BK028 is a fast-drying black ink designed for the aerospace industry. This ink, which is Boeing Approved, is adopted for coded aircraft components that require proof of identity and traceability.
