KHS BottleClip module for Innopack Kisters TSP Advanced series
KHS Innopack Kisters TSP Advanced series is engineered to pack beverage cans and PET and glass bottles on trays and pads and in film — and can now turn PET bottles into sustainable multipacks using the new BottleClip Carrier, a cardboard carrying handle packaging module.
The cardboard is clipped onto the PET bottles by a rotating application wheel in continuous operation, eliminating the need for a shrink tunnel.
Up to 4800 packs an hour sporting the alternative cardboard carrying handle can be produced.
Users can choose between multipack format sizes of two, four, six or eight identical bottles and mixed variety packs. The cardboard carrier is suitable for PET bottles made either of virgin PET or of up to 100% recyclate, and lightweight containers can also be processed.
The option is available for all standard models in the Advanced series. Existing machines can be converted to include this module where certain technical requirements are met. Bottling plants can then flexibly switch between the various packaging varieties according to their current demand.
Operator-prompted format changeovers take only a few minutes to complete.
