Ishida has launched the Atlas-122C and 112C, compact models of the existing Atlas high-speed snack foods bagmaker. These models have the capacity of the existing Atlas models in downsized compact flame, providing high-speed packaging with high seal integrity.

The compact flame allows a twin configuration, providing high productivity in a limited space. When combined with a 16-head multihead weigher, it can produce 120 ppm on each of the two sides, for a total of 240 bpm. The two sides can be operated independently, with both producing a different bag size or different product at the same time. This feature adds production flexibility, allowing varied operation schedules of individual production lines.

The easily understood icons displayed on the remote control make it readily accessible and easy to operate. The single integrated control panel gives total control of the weigher, bagmakers, checkweighers and seal checkers, as well as the optional metal detector and printer. The system minimises operator effort and reduces training costs.
