Avery Dennison Curve Appeal label application system

Thursday, 30 June, 2011 | Supplied by: Avery Dennison

The Avery Dennison Curve Appeal label application system can be used for complex curved surfaces and will allow designers to create more distinctive packaging shapes to catch the eye of consumers.

The system encompasses Fasson Curvy film labels that work together in a machine application process. The film label combines a wraparound look with the shelf appeal of pressure-sensitive graphics. It is claimed to create up to 30% more space for primary labelling than current flat surfaces and, because it reduces the need for 2-ply label constructions, enables larger back panels to carry more product or multi-language information.

The application technology enables converters using Fasson Curvy film to deliver improved lay-down quality for large-format and unique label designs. The linear label application equipment is manufactured under license to Harland Machine Systems Ltd.
