Ishida QX-775 and QX-1100 tray packaging systems

The Ishida tray packaging systems are versatile tray sealers compatible with paperboard, plastic and aluminium tray materials, with all models configured for gas flushing, vacuum-gas flushing or sealing only.

A compact design reduces floor space requirements and the tooling release system enables fast changeovers. Access to all machine areas facilitates easy sanitation procedures.

Two models are available. The QX-775 tray sealer creates airtight seals at speeds up to 100 trays/min. Featuring a single lane in-feed, colour touch-screen controls with 99 product presets, the tray sealer allows maximum production flexibility. Greater positioning accuracy ensures high-quality seals, while the system’s smooth operation and tray transfer reduces product loss and damage. It offers a quick no-tools system for changeover of tooling.

The twin-lane QX-1100, for speeds up to 200 trays/min, achieves faster cycle speeds with advanced servomotor controls and a gripper arm design. A tool function automatically recognises the correct tooling for each selected preset for the fastest possible changeovers. A Windows XP platform for line controls provides easy operator interface for instant set-up and accessing online diagnostics.

The tray sealers can be integrated with other Ishida packaging systems (multi-head weigher, checkweigher, and X-ray) and Ceia metal detection systems.
