Sealtick TSE 6086b flexible package leak tester
The Sealtick 6086b is a non-destructive vacuum leak tester suitable for leak testing of food and pharmaceutical packaging. It is suitable for testing the integrity of a wide range of dry and flexible-type packaging. This type of testing method provides assurance to the manufacturers that the seals have been made properly and packages are protected against external contamination during transportation and handling. Manufacturers can be confident that their products have the maximum shelf life.
This non-destructive flexible package leak tester is easy to use and is designed to provide fast, reliable, accurate results with full traceability. Once a package is placed into the testing chamber, the display panel will indicate either pass/fail results within a few seconds. A small package can be tested in 5 s and large packages may take up to 15–20 s. The quantitative results are stored as log files in the internal memory for 30 days, and can be extracted to the desktop computer via Ethernet or USB connection.
The Sealtick 6086b machine is designed to accept items up to 360 x 300 mm, subjected to thickness. It is constructed with stainless steel housing and requires only air and power to function. Therefore, it is suitable for use in a production environment. The testing method does not stress or inflate the packages, which allows packages to return into the production line upon testing. It is recommended for leak testing of dry products such as snack food, coffee and pharmaceutical products.
