Wedderburn Vantage RFS Lite weighing traceability system

Tuesday, 15 February, 2011 | Supplied by: Wedderburn Pty Ltd

The Wedderburn Vantage RFS Lite system has been developed specifically for recipe control in the food industry. The weighing unit incorporates an electronic traceability system without the costly infrastructure of shop-floor networking.

The unit is made from robust stainless steel and features touch screen control. It offers electronic traceability, including batch reports, QA reports and ingredient usage reports. The reports are automatically generated by simply plugging a USB or memory stick into the scale and connecting it to a PC.

While detailed reporting provides complete product traceability, enforced target weights ensure quality assurance, consistency, operator control and no over weighing or under weighing.

Other features include: touch screen operation; ingredient tolerance settings of ±5 g; large recipe and ingredient storage capacity; 400 mm square stainless steel platter; 30 kg capacity; upgradeable to a network system; and PDF reports.
