Vehicle mount sunlight readable computer
Advantech's new PPC-V106T-SR is a fanless high reliability PC in a rugged die-cast aluminum enclosure for daylight applications. Design to sustain outdoor environments; it can be mounted in heavy-duty vehicles such as forklifts, trucks, tractors, cranes, trailers.
To eliminate the problem of sunlight and glare the PPC-V106T-SR uses a transflective LCD technology that is designed to make the screen readable in bright daylight situations. The hardened screen also offers protection from damage and abrasion.
The PPC-V106T-SR is available with optional vehicle mount kit. It has no ventilation holes and is top-down water resistant to IPC65/NEMA4 standard. Variable power sources can be used, including optional 12V, 24V, 48V DC or AC supply. The internal fanless 800Mhz processor board supports up to 2 GB of SDRAM using either HDD or SSD/compact flash for high vibration applications.
