CipherLab has built its latest mobile computers called the 9400 series. These handheld PCs have 520 MHz computer power, 128 MB of SDRAM and many standard features all built within a lightweight compact form that fits easily into a hand.

With full Windows CE functionality it also has multiple wireless connectivity options and a full colour touch screen.

Specifically designed for industrial applications, mobile field service applications and retail environments, the user can process customer orders, manage inventory and even communicate using voice over IP while on site.

With 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2 and GSM wireless connectivity as standard, the series has a wide range of applications.

Standard features also include bar code scanner, digital camera and 28 shared or 59 fully alphanumeric keyboard. When combined with the CipherLab software development tools such as Stream Wireless Studio, will customise functions and applications.

With options of QVGA or high-resolution VGA screen, vibrator, tri-coloured LED alerts and audio speaker, this mobile computer will operate reliably in poor light, noisy and harsh environments. The lithium battery and optional charging cradles and vehicle mounts will ensure that workers can stay operational for the full duration of their shifts.
