Light crane system

The Konecranes XA Aluminium Light Crane System has been tailored to demanding applications which require high precision, less rolling resistance, low noise and corrosion-free extended durability and cleanliness.

The light crane system — based on high structural stiffness aluminium alloy rail profiles — includes monorails and single and double girder cranes up to 2000 kg capacity.

Designed to work in cells and for lighter materials handling needs, the system expands Konecranes’ wide range of lifting solutions.

The system’s ergonomic benefits include less effort required when operating, because both rolling resistance and system dead weight are reduced by 50% compared with traditional steel rails.

Also, because of the light weight and low rolling resistance, many applications can be realised with push-pull trolleys rather than motorised drives, achieving modern energy-conserving and cost-efficient outcomes.

The XA Aluminium Light Crane Systems have been specifically developed to meet and exceed the specific requirements of demanding industries, including food and beverage processing and manufacturing roles in clean environments.

The system’s attributes — modular design, light weight, high structural stiffness, low rolling resistance and silent use — mean it can be employed in a wide scale of standard and tailor-made solutions. The system’s modular design facilitates short installation times, reducing downtime.
