Milford Industries' IBC division has developed a colour-coding system for the food grade polypropylene liners for the Hopper IBC range.

The system is particularly beneficial when handling perishable products where various components need to be separated. The coding system applies to handling of whole meat, dairy products, cereals and smallgoods.

The Hopper has a large number of configurations that it can be adapted to and Milford will largely tailor the design to suit the particular specifications of a client.

The Milford Hopper can be supplied in either 500 or 1000 kg and a variety of full- or half-height gate configurations which can be fixed or folding. Each IBC is completely enclosed and has a lockable lid to ensure the integrity of the contents. These IBCs can be safely used in HACCP processing environments.

The Hopper has a low level hatch for the safe, controlled discharge of most ingredients. All Hopper IBCs are manufactured with a durable long-lasting steel frame. Milford has also developed a number of accessories for its IBC range including an air-operated tilter to assist with unloading.

An ergonomic easy-lift handle ensures potential OH&S risks are removed for operators when assembling or folding the Hopper after use.
