Actuator

The LA35 actuator, which has been added to the Techline range, is designed to solve a number of challenges faced in the industrial marketplace.

Features include: exchangeable power and signal cable up to 10 m long; integrated electronics; position feedback via hall or potentiometer; direct PLC interface; internal current protection; and end or stroke position signals.

The integrated electronics also fulfil a number of safety precautions, protecting both the user’s application and the actuator. The actuator lifetime has further been extended by the introduction of the non-contact potentiometer.

The quiet, powerful actuator is designed for a variety of applications that may face extreme conditions both indoors and outdoors. It has a heavy-duty aluminium motor housing with a special surface treatment, and with water ingress often a concern on outdoor applications, it has an IP protection rating of IP66 (dynamic) and IP69 static high-pressure washdown.

The actuator is suitable for mobile ‘off-highway’ equipment such as agricultural, forestry and construction machinery. It can push up to 6000 N and pull up to 4000 N and has standard stroke lengths to 400 mm. Longer stokes to 600 mm are also available.
