The FastBack ClimbBack conveyor and Powder on Demand [POD] can be used to increase the efficiency and flexibility of processing lines.

The FastBack ClimbBack can convey product up inclines of 8°, with the ClimbBack pan available only on FastBack horizontal motion conveyors. Elevation of product allows compact placement of distribution conveyors and saves floor space.

It has easy-cleaning features and is suitable for dry and sanitary wet-washdown applications.

The conveyors are claimed to reduce product breakage up to 60% compared to vibratory conveyors. As there is almost no loss and build-up of product coatings, product quality is preserved and unscheduled sanitation downtime is eliminated. Quiet near-70 dBA operation with product reduces workplace noise fatigue and there is no preventative maintenance required.

POD is a compact, efficient system that transfers powders and granules to seasoning applicators, mixers, storage bins and elevated equipment. It eliminates the need for ladders and heavy lifting and there are no moving parts or high-maintenance augers, dust socks or vacuum pumps.

POD uses energy-efficient dense-phase conveying to transfer products. It requires 34.5 kPa at 2.2 L/s. Dense-phase conveying can lift product up to 9.14 m but does not stratify or separate its ingredients the way vacuums and other pneumatic systems can. Powders are transferred without spills, cross-contamination or dust pollution. POD runs unattended and has only four parts to clean and needs no tools for disassembly. All pneumatic and control components are contained within a compact docking station and the POD canister is easily transferred to different docking stations or away from the product area for cleaning.
