Sweetening systems

Consumers’ growing health consciousness is reflected in the increased focus on the energy content in beverages. No other ingredient, however, pleases quite like sugar. Its sweet taste induces comfort, intensifies flavours, masks off-notes, and provides the body with nourishment. Wild offers beverage manufacturers the ability to cut calorie content without having to sacrifice full-bodied taste, through the use of innovative sweetening systems.

Sweet Up is a modular sweetening system that is claimed will deliver the nutrition industry solutions to quench the thirst of calorie-conscious consumers tastefully — by partially or completely replacing the sugar. Through the use of functional, natural flavour extracts, the Wild Resolver rounds out the taste of products utilising Sweet Up.

The optimal sweetener formulation is application specific. Wild fine-tunes its sweeteners to the technical requirements of the individual applications and to the desired taste.

Fructsweet can be used to reduce the calorie content of beer drinks without sacrificing the full-bodied taste.
