Kiwifruit-derived Nektabake is fat free, high in fibre and can be used to replace eggs, dairy products, butter, cooking oils and casein-derived products in baking.

The all natural fruit carbohydrate extract ingredient contains no artificial ingredients, additives or preservatives. It is gluten free, GRAS, contains no MSG or corn and is GMO free.

The ingredient, which contains dietary fibre, is high in fruit carbohydrates, is suitable as a bulking agent and offers binding, aeration and suspension properties. In some products Nektabake also aids as a stabiliser, humectant and/or product shelf life extender.

The product contains carbohydrates, pectin, dietary fibre, malic acid, minerals, vitamin C, potassium and vitamin E.

Nektabake can be used to increase yield in baked products, increase shelf life in bread and baked goods, make bread softer, reduce fat in pastry and sweet pastry and to lower the fat content of cakes, muffins, biscuits and energy bars.
