Honey flavours

RC Treatt has released two honey versions to its totally natural Treattarome distillate range.

Honey 9802 is a milder version of the 9801 quality but with stronger malt, smoky back notes. Honey 9804 has more of a floral character for top noting honey products.

Both distillates are manufactured solely from honey sourced from North America.

A low dose rate of around 25 ppm is all that is needed.

The distillates are miscible with water so are suitable for alcoholic beverages, juices or flavoured teas and waters. They contain no calories or nutritional value as such.

Honey replacements are assuming a much greater importance due to supply problems in many geographical areas because of colony collapse disorder which is diminishing bee colonies around the world.

Samples are available on request.
