Butter Buds bacon flavour has a natural bacon flavour along with a fatty richness and mouth feel. It is suitable for vegetarian food products as it contains no animal fat and it is Kosher Parve certified.
The natural concentrate can be used as seasoning, in processed cheese, in salad dressing and dips, and can also be used in a brine solution or meat marinade. It has a usage level of 0.25 - 2.0%.
The fat content is 13.5 +/- 2.0% per 100 g and moisture content less than 5% per 100 g. It can be packed and shipped in 25 kg cartons.
It is made with a highly concentrated natural bacon flavour spray dried on a corn starch carrier and has a 12-month shelf life when stored at 10-27ºC and less than 70% humidity. It doesn’t need any refrigeration and is heat stable.
