Suntory Oceania releases 2025 Sustainability Report
Suntory Oceania has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, demonstrating how the business is delivering on its commitment to ‘Growing for Good’.
The report highlights strong progress across climate action, circular packaging, consumer choice and community impact.
Among the achievements, the company increased production volumes by 36% while reducing Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 55% compared to its 2019 baseline, exceeding its 2030 emissions reduction target five years ahead of schedule.
Other report highlights include:
- Increased production volumes by 36% while lowering operational emissions.
- The Queensland facility was registered to return surplus green energy back to the grid and earn large-scale Generation Certificates.
- Increased usage of recycled materials in product packaging by 45%.
- 1500 trees were planted across Australia and New Zealand.
- Over 7000 students participated through Suntory’s Mizuiku water education programs across Australia and New Zealand.
The report also highlights the role of Suntory Oceania’s carbon-neutral manufacturing facility in Queensland, which is registered as a power station, enabling it to return surplus renewable energy back to the grid.
