Saputo to sell its UK operations to Lactalis
One of the top 10 dairy processors in the world, Saputo Inc., has signed an agreement to sell its UK dairy division to B.S.A. SAS (Lactalis). The UK dairy division’s five manufacturing facilities and its local brands will be included in the transaction, which is valued at approximately £988 million.

The transaction is expected to be completed by early 2027, subject to applicable closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Proceeds from the transaction are expected to be used to enhance the company’s flexibility and provide additional capacity to accelerate growth.
