Entry opens for SA Food and Beverage Industry Awards
Entry has opened for the SA Premier’s Food and Beverage Industry Awards for 2022. These awards are presented annually and recognise strong performance, leadership and innovative practices in the South Australian food industry.
There are 15 awards categories that can be entered. The categories cover both individuals and businesses, with entrance into some of the latter classifications split according to the number of employees a company has. Businesses can be awarded for qualities such as innovation, mental health support of their employees or, for new businesses, how they have fared in their early years. Individuals may be recognised for their leadership and for being an up-and-coming go-getter.
The exact requirements for entry vary for each award, with entrance into the industry-awarded categories exclusively being nominated by a panel of industry experts. An information night that will elucidate the registration process is being run on 6 June.
More information about the awards can be found online, including how to register, and entrants are being accepted until 4 July. The winners of the awards will be revealed at the Awards Gala Dinner on 11 November at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
