Austech and Australian Manufacturing Week postponed until 2022
Austech, a machine tool and manufacturing technology exhibition, and Australian Manufacturing Week have been postponed to 2022.
The decision was made at a recent meeting of the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL) board in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Austech has been owned and operated by AMTIL since 2000. AMTIL also recently announced the launch of AMW, a manufacturing solutions event, following the news that Reed Exhibitions has discontinued its National Manufacturing Week (NMW) exhibition. The inaugural edition of AMW had been planned for 11–14 May 2021, co-located with Austech at the MCEC.
The events, originally scheduled to take place in May 2021, will now be held from 8–11 March 2022 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
